Healing-Circle is a member of Open Path. Their nonprofit serves clients who lack health insurance or whose health insurance doesn’t provide adequate mental health benefits. These clients also cannot afford current market rates for therapy (between $80-200 a session). They help their members access their choice of affordable in-person or online care from a vetted mental health professional. Please visit them here.
Loveland Therapy Fund recipients will have access to comprehensive lists of mental health professionals across the country providing high quality, culturally competent services to Black women and girls. Black women and girls deserve access to healing, and that healing will impact generations.
Pro Bono Counseling® (PBC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded with the goal of connecting uninsured and under-insured low-income Marylanders with compassionate and qualified mental health professionals who provide care on a volunteer basis at no cost.
Healing-Circle takes ONE pro bono case per year, providing needed care and resources to these at-risk Marylanders.
Please contact us today to ask about these services. If that slot is currently full, we can give you a timeline for future availability.
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield/Carefirst insurance only, however, we work with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. You can sign up using this link: https://mentaya.com/inviteclient/healing-circle
Note: Mentaya's goal is to save you time and money. It's completely optional, and as your therapist team, we do not benefit in any way from your participation.
