1. Superbills: We offer superbills to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
2. Mentaya: Streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions by handling the paperwork. They submit your claims for processing and send you a check in the mail!
Mentaya charges %5 for processing.
3. Thrizer: They also take care of submitting your claims; however, depending on your plan, you may be able to pay just your estimated copay or deductible amount upfront. In this case, Thrizer will front the rest of my fee to me and handle the insurance reimbursement on your behalf.
3. The Loveland foundation
Loveland Therapy Fund recipients have access to mental health professionals providing high-quality, culturally competent services to Black women and girls. Supported by The Loveland Foundation’s Therapy Fund, Black women and nonbinary folks are provided access to healing. To learn more, click here.
To apply for the Loveland Fund, click here. Please note, Loveland currently has a waitlist. They provide vouchers to their participants for therapy sessions ($120 a session). Through their portal, Healing-Circle is able to use these vouchers for client session payments.
4. Open Path
Open Path serves clients in financial need who are seeking affordable therapy. Open Path clients cannot afford market rates for therapy, lack adequate mental health insurance coverage, and have an annual household income below $100,000.
